ACCES Employment offers programs that help youth to get started with their careers. We recognize the importance of customizing our approach to address the unique challenges that youth face when deciding on a career path, learning about workplaces and finding the right job opportunities with good employers. The programs below support youth to find their way in the current job market and launch a meaningful career.
Youth Job Connection/Youth Job Connection Summer
This program is designed for youth 15-29 who are facing challenges in finding employment. The program offers paid training while you perfect your resume, prepare for interviews and meet with mentors and employers.
Employment Connections for Newcomer Youth
This is a FREE four-week skills training program designed to help newcomer youth find a job in customer service or general labour. The program supports newcomers between the ages of 16 and 29.
Motive Power Connections
This free, four-week automotive skills training program is designed for newcomer and refugee youth ages 15-29 interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.
Barista Training for Newcomer Youth with Starbucks Canada
If you are between the ages of 16-29, this 3-day course will prepare you to interview for a barista position at Starbucks Canada or other customer service roles.

This free program is intended for youth (between the ages of 15-29), who are eligible to work in Canada and currently reside in Ontario. The program covers career exploration, career management and job search, readiness and matching.
